Who are Brooks Forgings?
Brooks Forgings, established in 1960, is a leading manufacturer of forged and machined components. Primarily specialising in Upset Forging, Drop Forging, Hand Forging and Machining.
Their On site facilities include, 14 Hot Forging Cells, CAD/CAM, Tool Making, Die Sinking, Machining and Tensile/Destructive Testing.

What have we done for Brooks Forgings?
Silver Knight Haulage & Machineries Ltd has been working with Brooks Forgings Ltd since 2009. We have provided several services with the main focus concentrating on transport and installation of new machines to Brooks Forgings newly acquired 45,000 sq ft manufacturing site, in Stourbridge.
Completed projects include:
- Disassembly, transportation and installation of a 200 Ton Bentley Power Press, removed from Cerro EMS ltd in 2009.
- Relocation of Brooks manufacturing site in Cradley Heath. This involved the removal, transportation and installation of 14 upset forging machines, 12 forging presses, lathes, CNC machines and other miscellaneous heavy plant equipment.
- Removal, transportation and installation of several Flash Butt welders, removed from B&G Williams in 2010.
- Relocation of a 2nd forging site acquired from Parker Hannifin's forging facility in Halesowen. This included transport and reinstallation of a Banning GOA 1250 Pneumatic Hammer, Model C Automated Horizontal Impacter System, Tosca automated shot blast machine and several Induction heater cells.
